Day 1: Hanoi arrival (D)

The tour guide of Vietnam OZ Holiday will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport. It takes you 35 minutes to drive to the centre of Hanoi. Let’s start our city tour from Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Visit the Complex of Ho Chi Minh located by this square. Have a visit to Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda before strolling around the Old Quarter of Hanoi by pedicabs. Check-in hotel. Lunch at your own arrangement for flexibility. Afternoon continue to visit the city with stops at Ngoc Son Temple, the Sword Lake, which is considered the centre and the soul of the city. Visit the Temple of Literature, the very first High School of Vietnam, and Fine Art Museum. Evening enjoy a show of Water Puppetry, a unique stage art created by the Vietnamese peasants. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive for Hai Phong to Vinh Bao district to enjoy a show of Water Puppetry, a unique stage art created by the Vietnamese peasants. Continue to Hai Phong to check in the hotel. In the afternoon, take an hour rickshaw trip to visit city centre, memorial & theatre. Continue to visit Du Hang pagoda, Hang Kenh communal house, and fish market. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Dinner & overnight in Hai Phong.

Day 3: Halong Bay cruise (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

In the morning, take an hour hydrofoil to Cat Ba island; it is an interesting mean of transportation to Cat Ba. On disembark at Cat Ba Island, take short walking across to the other side of island to Beo harbor. Five hour boat cruise in Ha Long Bay including seafood lunch. Visit caves in the bay. Return to Hanoi with stop at Dong Trieu ceramic factory or Hong Ngoc charity centre. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Halong bay Cruise –Hue (Breakfast, Brunch)

Begin your exploration of Hue by taking a leisurely boat trip along the romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and continue on to The Imperial Citadel where the fabled Nguyen Dynasty ruled. Next, visit Mausoleum of Tu Duc which was first used as a palace retreat before its final usage as the emperor’s resting place. Finish up the day at Khai Dinh’s Tomb where traditional Vietnamese design is infused with a European touch, making it unique from the other tombs in Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 5: Hue –Danang –Hoi An (B)

Depart Hue for the drive to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. This scenic drive passes through the fishing village of Lang Co before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds. Along the way, stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum, which contains the finest collection of Cham sculptures in the world. Upon arrival in Hoi An, take a guided walking tour of the Hoi An ancient town centre. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 6: Hoi An ancient town (B)

After breakfast, depart for a half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Visit another former Champa capital, Tra Kieu, before returning to Hoi An where the afternoon is walking tour of the town’s ancient quarter. Afternoon trip to a lantern workshop. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 7, day 8: Hoi An relax (B)

Transfer to Danang airport to take a flight o Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up and drive to the hotel on arrival. The rest of the day is free at with an optional walking tour or taking the rickshaw to explore the China town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Transfer to Danang airport to take a flight o Ho Chi Minh City. Pick up and drive to the hotel on arrival. The rest of the day is free at with an optional walking tour or taking the rickshaw to explore the China town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi tunnels (B)

Our day begins with a drive to Cu Chi Tunnels, one of the few remaining monuments to the Vietnam War. Beneath the ground lie 200 km of tunnels, dug by hand and inhabited by the forces of the Vietnamese guerillas during the conflict. At its peak, prior to the Tet Offensive in 1968, the tunnel complex was base to almost 10,000 troops. To this day, it remains one of the most impressive examples of how fierce the war used to be. Return to Saigon late afternoon. To visit Reunification palace, War Remnant museum, Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Mekong day trip (Breakfast, Lunch)

Drive to My Tho, take boat to Thoi Son Island, and visit local Gardens, Coconut Mill, and Honey Bee garden. Enjoy local fruits & Tai Tu Traditional Music Show performs by local artists. After lunch in Local Island, boating back to My Tho City visit Nam Trang Pagoda, then head back to Saigon for overnight in the city.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)

The morning is free before transfer to the airport. Take departure flight and services end.
